EGEN, Inc., is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing nucleic acid-based therapeutics for cancer and other difficult to treat diseases using proprietary nanoparticle delivery systems. They came to Axxiem looking for a simple, attractive, modern site that would showcase and clearly explain their proprietary technology.
Axxiem developed a new site for Egen that showcases their TheraPlas and TheraSilence technologies and features up-to-date information about the status of their clinical trials and R&D pipeline. The uncluttered, visually engaging site is easy to navigate and allows visitors to quickly learn all the key information about the company and its offering. The homepage features an eye-catching artistic representation of Egen's biopharmaceutical delivery technology.

Eli Lilly approached Axxiem in 2010 with a request for two websites for their Voice project. Voice is an enterprise project planning and management system that allows all of Chorus' employees to access important information through the internet.
Chorus Resonance was the second of these two sites.
Chorus Resonance extensively used a theme that Axxiem recommended to Chorus. The design serves as a common point between Chorus and prospective clients: it is accessible and familiar to both parties.
Reagent Proteins is a leading supplier of reagent, pre-clinical and cGMP-grade proteins to the biopharmaceutical and vaccine development community. They had used an off-the-shelf shopping cart and ecommerce program for their product website but found that it did not allow them the necessary level of customization. This is often the case with life sciences companies, whose products and shopping experience have very different requirements from companies in other industries. The goal of the project was to redesign and re-structure the website to make it much more user-friendly for the shoppers, to make products very easy to find, to provide detailed descriptions for each item, and improve the overall shopping and checkout experience.
Axxiem worked with Reagent Proteins to understand their products and their customers' needs and designed several features into the site to make products easier to find: more product categories, advanced search functionality, an alphabetical product index, and related products functionality. Additionally, each product now has its own dedicated page with a detailed description. The shopping experience is improved by an integrated shopping cart, and each customer has an account that allows them to access their order history and to save time by easily placing previous orders again. Administrators use the content management system to keep site content current, to manage the product catalog, and can even make certain products not available for purchase, prompting shoppers to contact the company for a price quote.
Thank you for giving us such a professional, functional and easy-to use web-site. We are looking forward to working with your team on our corporate redesign too.

Chorus Group was the first of these sites.
The primary concern of this website was its design. The design is sleek and in keeping with both Axxiem's and Eli Lilly's standards. The theme also complimented several of the assets that Chorus gave Axxiem, including several graphics and a Flash presentation
