Stroke Help's founder walked through Axxiem's door with the dream of establishing an group that would help families of stroke victims learn how to live with family who have suffered with stroke.
Bob was one of Axxiem's very first AxxiCARE projects and we continue to assist where we can in his efforts to help and educate the local community.
Compassion and Choices of New York is a nonprofit organization working to improve care and expand end-of-life choices. Compassion and Choices needed a site which presented the subject with the same compassion and empathy that its staff and members use with their clients.
Axxiem developed a site which has a very unique flash presentation of the topic which speaks poetically to the issue. The site also includes a Content Management System which enables the organization to update their events and notices to keep their membership informed of developments on the political and community front.
The site Axxiem built for us has been highly praised by our members. Our story can be challenging to tell, but Axxiem was able to tell this in a unique and engaging way. We liked it so much we recommended them to our California branch.

The Armenian Assembly of America is the largest non-partisan Armenian-American advocacy organization in the United States. The challenge was to develop a highly functional CMS system providing Assembly staff with full ability to manage all aspects of the site, from top level navigation, to calendars, News callouts, etc. on a very limited budget.
Axxiem built the solution using an powerful open-source system, Typo3. We also developed several unique functionalities which allow the Webmaster to actually create unique call out boxes and publish them on select pages.
"Our community is diverse and extends around the globe. We needed an effective way to quickly communicate with our constituency wherever they are as well as keep Armenian-American issues in the forefront of the minds of policymakers in Washington. The website that Axxiem has designed and built for us provides enormous power and flexibility."
Bryan Ardouny, Executive Director of the Armenian Assembly
The goal was to design a completely different homepage which would get people to take a second look at the small village of Hastings, recognizing the charm and the opportunity the village offers.
The new site has a completely custom flash animation of the village, complete with cafes, shops and passing vehicles. The site includes a directory of local merchants as well as a Google-driven map to easily locate all merchants.
